After a degree from London South Bank University James Hagger started his career working as an assistant director in commercials, music videos and feature films. He has worked in the industry for the last 15 years on award winning commercials and films such as The Count of Monte Cristo, Renaissance, Mister Lonely, It's All Gone Pete Tong, The Football Factory, The Business, 16 years of alcohol etc... He then moved on to directing commercials through Nexus London and Notorious Films before working freelance and producing.

Today James Hagger is the Managing Director and Executive producer of Troublemakers.tv. He produces for a talented new generation of director who use live action, 2D and 3D animation to create innovative imagery. TM has representatives in Paris, London and Hamburg and represents the following Directors: Niko Tziopanos, Timo Schadel, Mato Atom, David Lobser, Andrew Huang, Decoy, LCP United, Antoine Carlier, Kirk Hendry, Katy Davis, Jonathan Vardi, Tix and Icecream Extruder.

James has worked and filmed in the UK, France, Spain, Scotland, Luxemburg, Germany, Hungary, Malta and China.
